Jean McGee Cauble

Jean McGee Cauble, age 93, widow of Harold Claude “Sonny” Cauble, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025 at her home.

She was born January 3, 1932 in Clinton, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late William O. McGee and Marguerite Harris McGee. Jean retired as nurse from Blalock Clinic and also spent 30+ years as sales associate at Walmart.

She is survived by her children, Billy Cauble (Angela) and Jimmy Cauble (Kim); her sons-in-law, Jimmy Campbell and Gordon Anderson; her grandchildren, Jay Campbell (Abby), Josh Anderson (Andrea), BJ Cauble (Dana), Brandon Anderson (Savannah), Chris Cauble (Jessica), James Cauble, Austin Cauble, Aaron Hughes (Carly); her great-grandchildren, Ashley, Eastin, Kylie, Parker, Connor, Oakley, Cainan, Collins, Axton, Caden, Warrior, Brooks, Gracie; her great-great granddaughter, Naomi; her brothers, Eddie McGee (Edna), Tony McGee, Marty McGee (Ron), Barry McGee (Angie); and many beloved nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her daughters, Margaret “Sue” Campbell and Kathy Anderson; her brothers, Billy McGee, Jerry McGee and Michael McGee; and her grandson, Joey Campbell.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Hurricane Baptist Church with Rev. Jake Patterson and Rev. Phil Bryson officiating. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow at Rosemont Cemetery.
