Jean Elizabeth Springman, age 66, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020, at her home.
She was born in North Charleston, SC and was a daughter of the late Oscar and Caroline Lee.
Jean received a Masters in Business Management from Troy State University and worked with disadvantaged youth for most of her adult life. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Clinton.
She is survived by her husband, Rodger Dale Springman; her son, Shawnne Oscar Springman; her daughter-in-law, Jaine Lynn Sovey Springman; her brother, Johnny Lee; her sister, Donna Lee; and three grandchildren, Tristan, Takoda and Tessa.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in honor of her extraordinary love for children.
