Jeanne Claire Mccarley

Jeanne Claire McCarley, age 70, passed away, Saturday, April 6, 2024 in Newberry, South Carolina.
She was born June 17, 1953 in Whitmire, SC and was the daughter of Doris Jean McCarley and the late John “Jack” Furman McCarley, Jr. She was a devoted Clemson fan, a “doting Mimi”, and an exceptional mama, daughter and sister. Jeanne treasured her relationship with Jesus and attended Grace Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Tanya Shambley (Alex) of Newberry, and Timothy Edwards (Tiffany) of Morgantown, WV; her grandchildren, Zion Shambley, Amelia Edwards, Evan Shambley, Olivia Shambley, and Allison Shambley; her brother, John McCarley, III (Lisa) and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Whitmire with Rev. Todd Johnson officiating, and burial to take place at Whitmire Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
