Jeff R. Marcengill

Jeff R. Marcengill, age 44 of 171 T.J. Drive went to Heaven on January 3, 2011.
He was born in Oconee County and was a son of R. B. Marcengill and the late Mary Chapell.
Jeff was the former owner and operator of Jeff’s Antiques in Laurens and WeeBee Funitiure in Greenwood; he was a YMCA Coach for several sports at the Laurens YMCA and a former assistant coach for the Laurens High School Wrestling Team. Jeff was a fishing friend too all.
Surviving are his wife Penny King-Marcengill of the home; three sons, Randy King, Richard Brody Marcengill and Zackery Marcengill all of the home; one daughter, Megan Marcengill of Anderson; one brother, Rev. Willy Marcengill of Gray Court and one sister, Rhonda Marcengill of Anderson.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Jan. 8th at 1:00 p.m. in the Gray Court – Owings Baptist Church in Owings by Rev. Willy Marcengill.
The family will greet friends following the service at the church.
