Jennene “Jean Jean” Emery Pinson of 118 Oak Park Drive, Mauldin, South Carolina, and former native of Clinton, went to meet with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 27, 2009 at 9:15 am. She was under the care of her daughter, Letha J. Boswell of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, at the time of her passing.
Jennene was born in Clinton, South Carolina to the late Jessie Rhodes and Floyd L. Emery. She is survived by her husband, John E. Pinson of Mauldin; daughter, Letha Boswell of Murrells Inlet; granddaughter, Jessica Thomas Giddens, currently of Shanghai, China; and sister, Flo Emery Wilson of Joanna.
She was preceded in death by her two brothers Odis “Smokey” Emery and Doyle L. Emery. Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 3, at the Gray Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Thomas Daum officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemont Cemetery in Clinton.
“Jean Jean” was a very compassionate, loving and giving person to all - but especially to those in need. Her family wishes to honor her legacy through The Jennene E.
