Jenny R. Montjoy

Jenny R. Montjoy, age 63, wife of Ronnie Montjoy, went to her eternal resting place on Friday, March 7, 2025.

She was born June 29, 1961 in Munich, Germany on an US Army Base and was the daughter of the late Jack S. and Elizabeth Clark Rousey. Jenny dedicated her life to teaching children the love of God and was a children’s church teacher. She was the “rock” of her family and one of the strongest women we know.

In addition to her husband of 43 ¾ years, Jenny is survived by her children, Krystal (Billy) and Adam (Raegan); her brother Eddie Rousey (Lisa); her grandchildren – the light of her life, Kyleigh, Kassidy, Briann, Erin and Leighton.

Jenny is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Ronnie Lee Montjoy; her siblings, Nancy Cates, Stuart Rousey and Kenny Rousey.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Grace Pointe Church, 3601 Connor Road Hodges, SC at 2:00 PM with Rev. Heath Easler and Rev. John Abrams officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. The family will greet visitors on Monday, March 10, 2025 at Gray Funeral Home of Laurens from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
