Jessie Bell Durham Owens, age 87, of 15 Gallon St. died Saturday March 19, 2011 at her home.
She was born in Greenville County and was the daughter of the late James Onas and Bertha Stansell Durham.
Mrs. Owens was a member of the First Assembly of God of Laurens.
She was survived by three sons, Arthur Paul Owens Jr., James (Jim) Owens, and Billy Joe Owens all of Laurens; one daughter, Sherry Ann Summers of Laurens; one granddaughter raised in the home, Kathryn Owens Rowland of Lexington, SC; one sister, Ollie Chambers of Spartanburg and nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren
She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Paul Owens, Sr., a sister, Fronie Durham Carlton and a grandson, Paul (Buddy) Owens, III.
. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Laurens.
Please join the family at First Assembly of God of Laurens at 3:00 Tuesday, immediately following the graveside service, for a Celebration of Life.
