Jimmie Erline Mitchum, age 71, of 1720 Old Milton Road, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Laurens County Hospital.
She was born in Clinton and was a daughter of the late Leslie and Venie Smart Austin.
Mrs. Mitchum was a Pharmacy Tech with Sadler Hughes Apothecary and a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Relma Mitchum of the home; her sons Jeff Mitchum (Kim) of Laurens and Chris Mitchum of Clinton; her sister, Brenda Austin Jenkins (Elmer Jenkins, Sr.) of Whitmire; her niece, Lynn Hendrix of Whitmire; her grandchildren, Julie Mitchum, Katie Mitchum, Zach Mitchum (Jessica), Anna Mitchum and Addison Mitchum and one great-granddaughter, Emilee Mitchum.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Harold Austin and Bruce Austin, and her nephew, Elmer Jenkins, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd at 2 PM at Broad Street United Methodist Church with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
