Jimmie Ansel Lawson

Jimmie A. Lawson, age 77 of 420 Farley Ave. died Thursday, November 15, 2007 in the Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Chesnee and was the son of the late William Lawson, Jr. and Edna Trammell Lawson.
Mr. Lawson was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran of 26 years and was a member of the Waterloo Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine T. Lawson of the home; two daughters, Sharon Griffin and Jimlyn Covington both of Chesnee; a grandson, Joshua Covington; a granddaughter, Jeanna Demary; a great grandson, Nathan.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Laurens with interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at their respective homes.
