Jimmie Ovalene Humphries, age 92 of 409 Pickens Street, widow of Marvin Humphries, died Tuesday, June 16, 2009.
She was born in Newberry County and was a daughter of the late Frank B. and Lizzie Shealy Culclasure. She was retired from Greenwood Mills and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Joanna.
Surviving are one son, Edwin Humphries of Garland, TX, one daughter, Marlene Lowe of Greenwood, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her a daughter, Rita H. Price, a son, Michael Humphries, two brothers, Frank Culclasure and Fred Culclasure.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends before the service on Friday from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
