Jimmy Durrell Patterson

Jimmy Durrell Patterson, age 72, of 196 Rock Creek Road died Saturday, August 12, 2006 in the Mary Black Hospital in Spartanburg.
He was born in Laurens and was the son of the late Floyd and Gertha Spencer Patterson.
Mr. Patterson was retired from Torrington Bearings Co. and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Franklin Patterson of the home; two sons, Jimmy Durrell Patterson, Jr. of Gray Court and Charles Wayne Patterson of Easley; two daughters, Barbara Patterson Dickson of Clinton and Charlie Patterson Napier of Iva; three brothers, Rev. William F. Patterson, Charles Edward Patterson and Henry Burrell Patterson, all of Clinton; a sister, Eunice B. Eubanks of Laurens; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a sister, Ruth P. Howell.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton.
The family will received friends Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
