Joann C. Faulks, age 55, of 52 McDonald St. died Saturday, January 23, 2010 in the Spartanburg Regional Hospital.
She was born in Whitmire and was the daughter of the late Fred and Mary Corder.
Mrs. Faulks was a former employee of J.P. Stevens and American Fiber and Finishing and was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Larry Faulks, Sr. of the home; one son, Bill Larry Faulks, Jr. and his wife, Tina of Whitmire; one daughter, Jennifer Faulks and finace, Jeff Culberson of Union; two brothers, Fred Larry Corder of Whitmire and James Corder and his wife, Shirley of Cope; two sisters, Martha Lucas of Whitmire and Ann Kingsmore and her husband, Brian of Prosperity; 4 grandchildren, Ashley Harris, Bill L. Faulks, III, Alexis Brewington and Alicia Faulks.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home.
