Joanne L. Davis, 78, of 280 Milam Road passed away Friday, August 3, 2018 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, SC.
She was born in Clinton, SC and was the daughter of the late Wardlaw and Ruth Gray Lancaster.
Mrs. Davis was an employee of 40 years at Clinton Mills and later retired from Presbyterian Home. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Michael L. Davis of Clinton; her daughter, Pamela Murdock (Robert) of Honea Path; her sister, Patricia Burton of Ware Shoals; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Davis was predeceased by her daughter Brenda Gail Cain and her brother, Benjamin Nolan Lancaster.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton at 3:00 PM with interment at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to New Hope Baptist Church 4615 Hwy 72 West Clinton, SC 29325 or The American Cancer Society 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615
The family will be at their respective homes.
