Joann Norris Padgett

Joann Norris Padgett, age 60, of Fountain Inn and widow of Norman W. Padgett died Sunday, September 4, 2011 in Easley.
She was born in Laurens County and was the daughter of the late John Henry and Sarah Elizabeth Pearson Norris.
Mrs. Padgett was retired from Josten’s Cap and Gown Division with over 25 years of service, was a member of Bellview Baptist Church and enjoyed her work, her family and her grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Greg Padgett of Greenville; two brothers Ronnie Eugene Norris of Greenville and Ricky Nesbitt Norris of Laurens County; a sister, Darlene Clark of Easley; three grandsons, Aaron Padgett, Austin Padgett and Andrew Padgett all of Greenville and a special niece, Yvonne Williams of Easley.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Laurens with interment in the Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Laurens.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the Open Arms Hospice of Simpsonville for their loving care and devotion.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or the Open Arms Hospice of Simpsonville.
