Joe Terry Taylor

Joe Terry Taylor, 79, husband of Cathie Dominick Taylor, of Clinton, SC, passed away Monday July, 11, 2022 at his home.
He was born June 23, 1943 in Woodruff, SC to the late Oscar Everette and Eliza Poole Taylor.
Joe was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from Whitten Center as an Electronics Technician and from the Clinton Fire Department as a volunteer Fireman; after retirement, he continued working at Circuit City and Loomis Fargo. He was a Ranger at The Links at Stoney Point Golf Club in Greenwood. SC, and also played at the Whitmire Golf Club. Joe was an avid golfer, loved his family, a good cup of coffee, his dog, Storm, and spending time with his brother-in-law Walter Sumner, in the low country.
He was a member of Davidson Baptist Church in Clinton, SC.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Joseph “Tony” Taylor (Jodi) of Carlyle Illinois; two daughters, Kimberly Morrow (Sandy) of Summerville, SC, and Kelly Taylor of Clinton, SC; grandsons, Noah Morrow, Westley Ryan Parker (Blake); brothers, Charles Taylor of Lyman, SC, and Everette Taylor of Tyron, NC.; sisters, Dot Terry of Laurens, SC, Jan Morris of Chesnee, SC, Joyce Robison of Duncan, SC, and Peggy Hunt of Columbia, SC; a multitude of nieces and nephews; and all of the neighborhood children that he could never say no to.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Timothy Taylor; grandchildren, Trace Taylor and Karsen Morrow; brother, Ben Taylor; sisters, Mildred Crooke, Rachael Smith, Mozelle Bundrick, June McAlister and Judy Sellars.
Funeral Services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the Pinelawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Kenny Moore officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2 PM at the mausoleum chapel.
Honorary Pallbearers will be The Links at Stoney Point Rangers.
