John Pennington age 86 of Gray Court, SC passed away Monday, June 1st, 2015 at the Laurens County Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Pennington was the owner and operator of Pennington’s Texaco in Gray Court before his retirement and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Laurens.
Surviving are two brothers, O’Dell Pennington and Oscar Pennington; three grandchildren, Jason Cordell, Chris Pennington and Anna Pennington; a great granddaughter, Amanda Marler.
He was predeceased by his wife, Lois Rhodes Pennington, a son, Danny Pennington, a daughter, Carolyn Pennington and a grandchild, Josie Hairston.
Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, June 3rd at 11:00 AM at the Highland Home Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Donald Henson.
