John Richardson, age 47, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021, at his home.
He was born in Marion, SC. He was an employee of Shaw Industries and worked as a self-employed carpenter. John enjoyed working with his hands building things and was a sports fan and an avid Clemson fan.
He is survived by his wife, Lynnette Mitchell Richardson, four step-children, Nicole Turner (Kristi) of Westfield, IN, Stephanie Turner, of Danville, IN, Lance Turner of Indianapolis, IN, and Brent Deeble of Laurens, SC. John was the son of Ila Lee Ward of Conway and John Steven Richardson (Louise), of Johnsonville, SC. He is also survived by his grandmother, Ina Lee; half-brother, Bradley Richardson; niece, Leanne Sanchez; and four grandchildren.
John was predeceased by a sister, Melissa Ann Richardson.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021, at 3 PM, at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Laurens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 3 PM at the funeral home. The service will be Live-Streamed and a link can be found on John's tribute wall at www.grayfuneralhome.com .
