John Earl Thomas Sr.

John Earl Thomas, Sr. age 74, of 23108 Hwy. 72 East, died Monday, November 19, 2012 at his home.
He was born in Joanna, SC and was the son of the late James Edwin and Zelma Louise Hanvey Thomas.
Mr. Thomas was retired from the Torrington Bearings Company after 40 years of service and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Magnolia Lodge #355. He served in the Navy for four years.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Sue Young Thomas of the home; three sons, John Earl Thomas, Jr. and (Kim), Bobby Thomas of Clinton and Jeff (Kristi) Thomas, of Clinton; a daughter, Vicky Thomas-Wright of Joanna; eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 23rd at 3:00 p.m. in the Community Baptist Church with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday before the service from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Church.
