John H. Brewington, age 79 of 123 Rocky Springs Church Road and widower of Myrtle (Penny) Brewington, died Monday, March 6th in the Laurens County Hospital.
He was born in Spartanburg County and was a son of the late Roland and Pearl P. Brewington.
He was a member of Believers Assembly Church.
Surviving are his wife, Betty L. Brewington of the home, two daughters, Mrs. Dan (Perrie) Bolton of Greer and Johnette Faulkner of the home; four step-sons, Jimmy Lewis, Ricky Lewis, Joe Lewis and Michael Lewis; two sisters, Lillian Medlin and Pearl "Dandy" Brewington Campbell both of Clinton, nineteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. in Believers Assembly Church with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home.
