John L. Johnson, Jr.

John L. Johnson, Jr., age 65 of 109 Beauregard St., died January 10th at his home.
He was born in Gaston County, NC and was a son of the late John L. Johnson Sr. and Ercie Alma Miller Johnson.
He was a former employee of B. F. Shaw.
Surviving are his wife, Angela Fowler Johnson of the home, one step-daughter and son-in-law, Karen and James Sutherland of Laurens; one son, Johnny Johnson of Mt. Holly, NC; one sister, Mary Simpson and one brother, Manual Johnson both of Mt. Holly, NC; two grandchildren, Tyler and Ashton Sutherland of Laurens.
He was predeceased by one daughter, Millissa Johnson and one brother, Roy Johnson.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3:00 p.m. in the New Beginning Church of God of Prophecy with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service on Friday from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Church.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Laurens County, P.O. Box 178, Clinton, SC 29325.
The family is at the residence.
