John L. Wise, Jr.

John L. Wise, Jr., age 87, of 8974 Hwy. 76 West died Monday, December 26th at his home.
He was born in Laurens and was son of the late John L. Wise, Sr. and Annie Leopard Wise.
Mr. Wise retired from the Pullman Coach Co. in 1980 and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Florene Keasler Wise of the home; son, Wayne Wise of Middleburg, FL; daughter, Linda Jones of Hendersonville, NC; two step-daughters, Jerri Schnitzmeyer of Fleming Island, FL and Linda Cooper of Enoree; nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 3:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Laurens with burial in Westview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
