Johnny Joseph Pearson

Johnny Joseph Pearson, age 87, widower of Gladys H. Pearson, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was born January 8, 1934 in Philadelphia, PA and was a son of the late Harold Earl Pearson, Sr. and Doris Ellen Williams Pearson. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was retired from the Glass Plant of Laurens.
Mr. Pearson is survived by his three sons; his four daughters; his brother, Richard Pearson of Mountville, SC; his sisters, Arlene Davis of Laurens, SC, Sharon Brownlee of Laurens, SC, Charlotte Dominick of Laurens, SC, Edith Madden of Cleveland, TN, Faith Autrey of Burnsville, NC.; his eighteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents he is predeceased by his daughter, his five brothers, and five sisters, and one grandchild.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 2 PM at the Eastside Baptist Church in Laurens, SC.
