Joseph Chipley “Chippy” Able, Jr., age 76, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at National Healthcare of Laurens.
He was born January 14, 1948 in Abbeville, SC, and was a son of the late Joseph Chipley Able, Sr. and Mary Busbee Able.
Mr. Able is survived by his children, Dana Ivey, Christina Able Stokes (Dino), and Jason Able; his eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; and his brother, Richard “Petey” Able (Edna Cox).
In addition to his parents, Mr. Able was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Able.
