Joseph "Joey" Barron Miller

Joseph “Joey” Barron Miller, age 49, husband of Addye Holland Miller, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at his home.
He was born November 25, 1972 in Greenwood, SC and was a son of Susan S. Vaughan and James Guy Miller, Jr. (step-mother, Brooke). He was employed with Newberry Electric Coop as Lineman and was a former employee of Laurens Electric Coop. He was the owner of Leaning J Deer Processing, he was of the Baptist Faith. He was a special friend to many and loved animals of all kinds by taking in many strays over the years.
In addition to his wife and his parents he is survived by his children, Ashton M. Smith (Justin), Johnna Miller, Zoey Miller, and Riley Miller; his siblings, Jamie Miller (Elizabeth), Ashley Miller, Savannah Miller, and Blake Miller; his brother at heart, Phillip Wicker; his uncle, Bluford Vaughan (Teresa); his aunt, Cathy Dailey (Don); his beloved nieces and nephews; and his special buddy, Jayden Robinson.
Joey is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Dick M. Vaughan, Jr., Mr. & Mrs. James Miller, Sr., his uncles, Dick Vaughan, III and Roger Miller.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 1 PM at the First Baptist Church of Joanna, with burial to take place at Bush River Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hospice of Laurens County, PO Box 178, Clinton, SC 29325.
