Josephine Porter Turner
Josephine Porter Turner, age 88, formerly of Clinton and widow of Richard G. Turner died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at the Oaks of Brevard.
She was born in Laurens County and was the daughter of the late Albert and Millie Hackett Porter.
Mrs. Turner was a former employee of Whitten Center and was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald Turner and Barry Turner; a daughter, Missy Lewis of Enoree; granddaughters, Kelly Turner of Clinton, Laurie Carlisle of Alabama and Dakotah Turner of Arizona; grandsons, Jason Turner of Anderson, R.J. Turner of Charleston, B.J. Turner and Blake Turner both of Landrum; niece, Barbara Hall of Greenville.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Rosemont Cemetery.
