Joseph M. Goldsmith

Joseph M. Goldsmith, age 61, died Friday, April 3, 2009 at his home.
He was born in Greenville and was the son of Rev. George Browning and Mrs. Lane Porter Goldsmith, Jr. of Clinton.
Mr. Goldsmith was a salesman for Detroit Forming Co., was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church and was the State Historian for the S.C. Son’s of the Revolution and was instrumental in James William Chapter of Laurens, Saluda, and Newberry Counties.
In addition to his parents, he is also survived by two brothers, George B. Goldsmith, III of Travelers Rest and James B.P. Goldsmith of Chattanooga, TN; two nieces and two nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the All Saints Episcopal Church with interment at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
