Josie Boyce Waits

Mrs. Josie Boyce Waits, age 100 formerly of 314 Laurens St. died Sunday, Sept. 20th in the National HealthCare of Clinton.
She was born in Atkins, SC and was a daughter of the late Dalton Josie and Maude Lucas Boyce.
Mrs. Waits retired from Greenwood Mills, Joanna Plant after 41 years of service, was a member of the First Baptist Church of Joanna where she was a member of the Ladies Bible Class and was a member of the Eastern Star, Goldville Chapter No. 154.
Mrs. Waits is survived by a brother-in-law, Vernon and Janie Mae Boyce, a daughter-in-law, Frances Boyce of Aiken; a granddaughter, four great-grandchildren, two great-great granddaughters; nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, a great-great nephew, John Hogan Fuller and family and a great-great niece.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert L. Boyce, Sr., her second husband, W. Walter Waits, Sr. and her son, Robert L. Boyce, Jr..
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, Sept. 25th at 2:30 p.m. in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. before the service at the funeral home.
