Joyce Padgett Sprouse

Joyce Padgett Sprouse, age 72, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the Prisma Health Laurens County Hospital.
She was born June 7, 1951, in Columbia, SC and was a daughter of the late Phillip O’Neil Padgett and the late Margie Ford Padgett. She was a former employee of the Clinton Mills Lydia Plant and she greatly enjoyed bowling.
Ms. Sprouse is survived by her children, Roy McCall (Cindy) of Laurens and Melissa Gilstrap (Mitchell) of Laurens; her three grandchildren, Jordan McCall, Gracin Gilstrap, and Peyton Gilstrap; her brothers, Tommy Padgett (Janice) of Surfside Beach, SC and Marion Padgett (Margeret) of Georgetown, SC; her sisters, Shirley Payne (Timothy) of Lexington, SC, Sue Perkins (Johnny) of Columbia, SC, and Margie Padgett of Cheraw, SC.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Sammy Padgett and two sisters, Patricia Privatte and Tammy Padgett.
The family will have a Private Family Memorial at a later date.
