Joyce G. Wilkes

Joyce Wilkes, age 68, of 376 Bethany Church Road, died Wednesday, April 18th in Greenwood.
She was born in Reno and was a daughter of the late John and Fannie Puckett Gossett.
Mrs. Wilkes was a homemaker and attended the Old Time Holiness Mission Church.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas Wilkes of the home; three sons, Thomas Wilkes, Jr., Kenneth Wilkes, and Mark Wilkes; three daughters, Renee Wilkes, Diane Vaughn, and Pat Ray; a brother, Buddy Dunaway, four sisters, Rachael Rowe, Mary Tucker, Loree Lawson, Thelma Willard, and Louise Evans; fifteen grandchildren,including five special grandchildren, Kayci, Megan, Taylor, Hannah, and Lisa; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Janice Corder; a brother, Melvin Gossett; a sister, Tina Watson; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday April 21st at 3:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton with burial at Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
