Juanita Russ Leopard, age 83, of 205 Copeland St. died Friday, January 26, 2007 in the Spartanburg Regional Hospital.
She was born in Clinton and was the daughter of the late Henry and Lola Hughes Russ.
Mrs. Leopard was retired from Clinton Mill, was a member of Davidson St. Baptist Church where she was a member of the Willing Gleaners Sunday School Class and was a W.W. II army veteran.
She was survived by her husband of 61 years, Truman L. Leopard of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Truman Lawrence (Larry), Jr. and Pat Leopard of Spartanburg; a granddaughter and her husband, Christiana and Joe Zelano of Spartanburg; a brother, Roy Russ of Laurens; a sister, Thelma Russ Nelson of Clinton; a special niece, Jean Perna of Columbia; special friends, Mike and Sandra Bostic and family and Jennifer and Mike Hayes and family.
She was predeceased by three sisters, Lydia Mae Todd, Beatrice Reece and Ruby Nell Bishop.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the Davidson St. Baptist Church with interment in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The body will be taken to the home on Saturday for visitation from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
