Julian B. “Luke” Walker
Julian B. “Luke” Walker, age 78, of 374 Compton Road and widower of Linda G. Walker died Tuesday, February 3, 2015 in the Hospice House of Laurens County.
He was born in Tryon, NC and was the son of the late James A. and Pauline Kuykendall Walker.
Mr. Walker was retired from American Woodworks in Greenville and was a member, deacon and Sunday School Teacher at the Calvary Baptist Church. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran serving from 1954 to 1957.
He is survived by a son, David Walker and wife, Shirley of Clinton; daughters, Angela Snow and husband, Billy of Laurens, Dottie Walker of Simpsonville and Janice Ward and husband, Tedford of Clinton; a brother, Lloyd Walker of Ninety-Six; sisters, Dot Robinson of Laurens and Joyce Adair of Clinton; 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a grandson, Grayson Ward and brothers, Floyd Walker, Larry Walker and Glenn Walker.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends immediately after the service.
