Julius D. Bolt, age 76, passed away, Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Hospice House of Laurens County.
He was the son of the late Jesse C. Bolt and Katherine Weathers Bolt of Milam Road, Clinton, SC.
Mr. Bolt was a member of Rock Bridge Presbyterian Church. He was an active member of The Laurens County Museum, The Laurens County Genealogical Society, Sons of the American Revolutionary War, Sons of the Confederacy and a Mason at The Palmetto #19 Masonic Lodge. He retired from Winn Dixie after 47 years.
He is survived by his two sisters; Velma Bolt Faulkner (Bobby) of Clinton and Julia Bolt Pace of Simpsonville; two brothers, Beaufort C. Bolt (Betty) of Clinton and James W. Bolt (Chris) of Laurens; a sister-in-law, Barbara H. Bolt of Ware Shoals; a special nephew, Tim E. Faulkner (Kecia); two special nieces, Amy F. McGee (Gerald) and Katherine Pace Sanders (Mark); special great- nephews, Dustin and Shayne Faulkner and Steven, Matthew and John Sanders; special great- nieces, Kayse D. Fabans, Alex N. McGee and Beth Goans (Chris); and a special family, Sam Brewer (Codi), Callie, Marissa, Brayden and Isabella.
He was predeceased by a brother, Jack A. Bolt, two sisters, Patricia B. Nelson and Jane Ellen Bolt; and a brother-in-law, Jack H. Pace.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 20th at 3:00 PM at Rock Bridge Presbyterian Church with burial in the Rock Bridge Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of his sister, Velma Faulkner, 3814 Milam Road, Clinton, SC 29325.
