June Carol Garland, age 65, of 1971 Hwy 66, died Monday, June 28, 2015 in Wallace Thomson Hospital in Union.
She was born in Kingsport, TN and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Jessie McGee Goins.
Mrs. Garland was retired from Whitten Center.
She is survived by her son, Adam Garland of Greenwood; her daughter, Amy Mills of Whitmire; her brother, Rev. Dewayne Goins of Whitmire and Randy Goins of Texas; her sister, Deborah McCall of Whitmire; her grandchildren, Kinkade Garland, Zackary Alexander, Taylor Mills, Tristan Brown and Mya Nickles; her friend, Myra Wallen of Whitmire; Mrs. Wallen’s children, Brad Wallen, Eric Wallen and Mark Wallen; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a grandchild, Kayla Stephens.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 1st at 3 PM at Central Avenue Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 2 to 3 PM at the Church.
