Kathryn R. Quarles

Kathryn Reynolds Quarles, age 97 and widow of Robert H. Quarles, Jr. died Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Sunnybrook Assisted Living in Hendersonville, NC.
She was born in Edgefield County, SC and was a daughter of the late Edgar and Julia Culberth Reynolds.
Mrs. Quarles retired from Whitten Center in 1978 after 24 years of service, was a member of the Eastern Star, McCormick Chapter and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clinton.
Surviving are two daughters, Lucinda Chambers of Germantown, TN and Carolyn Beasley of Flat Rock, NC; one son, Robert H. Quarles, III of Clinton; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a sister, Corra Smith and a brother Henry Reynolds.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Nov. 25th at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends an hour before the service at the funeral home.
