Kathryn T. Hampton

Kathryn T. Hampton, age 80 formerly of 208 Academy Street and widow of Harold E. Hampton, died Monday, December 10, 2007 in Laurens.
She was born in Clinton and was a daughter of the late William P. and Juanita Morrison Thrift.
Mrs. Hampton was retired from Clinton Mills and was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Darryl E. Hampton of Greenwood and Dennis A. Hampton of Laurens; a daughter, Tami Fowler of Clinton; a brother, William P. Thrift Jr. of Clinton; a sister, Margie T. Silvers of Clinton; nine grandchildren, Ashley and Brantlee Hampton, Chad Webb, Miles and Shea Fowler, Zachary, Kelsey, David and William Hampton; and a great grandchild, Trey Hampton.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, Dec. 12th at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton with interment in the Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Hampton, 97 Z and K Farm Road, Laurens, SC.
