Kathy A. Porter

Kathy A. Porter, age 63, of 219 Independence Ave, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016, at the McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville, SC.
She was born in Laurens and was a daughter of the late Thomas and Virginia Willard Abrams.
Mrs. Porter was a former employee of the Laurens Shirt Plant and a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Tommy Porter (Sherri) of Easley; her daughter, Kelli Porter of Laurens; her brother, Leonard Thomas Abrams (Sherry) of Laurens; her sister, Beth Griffin (Benny) of Laurens; and her grandchildren, Savannah Grace Porter and Caleb Bryson Porter.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 15th, at 3 PM at Eastside Baptist Church in Laurens.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 to 3 PM at the church.

The family will be at the home of her sister, Beth Griffin, 1157 Hwy 49, Laurens, SC 29360.
