Kathy Heaton Smith

Kathy Heaton Smith, age 70, of Clinton, SC, wife of Jerry Smith, passed away, Thursday, February 8, 2024 at her home.
She was born June 22, 1953 in Clinton, SC, and was a daughter of the late Carl Junior and Peggy Lois Ginn Heaton. Mrs. Smith was formerly employed with Clinton Mills and was a member of the Lydia Mill Church of God. Kathy loved her family and children more than anything, her life revolved around them.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Smith is survived by her sons, Jerry Smith, Jr. (Maranda) and Carl Brandon Smith (Viola Shaun); her sister, Teresa Heaton Godfrey; her grandchildren, Charli, Carsen, Skylar, Kiyli, Gage, and Caroline; and one great grandchild, Raelynn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Allen Heaton.
A Memorial Service will be held 4:00 PM, Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton with Pastor Scott Wiggins officiating.
The family will greet friends prior to the service from 3:00-4:00 PM at the funeral home.
