Kathy B. Prather, age 56 of 20 Subertown Road died Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at her home.
She was born in Union and was a daughter of the late Alvin York (Bill) and Janie Lee Barnett Brown.
Mrs. Prather worked with the Guardian Ad Litem Program and was a volunteer at the Newberry Opera House.
Surviving are two sons, Michael Chris Keith of Ninety Six and Joshua A. Prather of Greenwood; and a grandson, Christopher Hunter Keith.
She was predeceased by a sister, Teresa Lee Brown.
Funeral services will be conducted by her aunt, Faye Faircloth Sunday at 4:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday before the service from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Shriners Childrens Hospital, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
