She was born in Greenville and was the daughter of the late Dennis and Shirley Lyda McLendon.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Rowland, of the home; her daughter, Megan Rowland of Laurens; her son, Chris Cunningham (Katrina) of Ware Shoals; her brother, Dwayne McLendon of Clinton and her sister, Denise Bledsoe of Alabama.
