Kenneth Bruce

Kenneth Bruce, age 78, of Whitmire, SC, husband of Debbie Frier Bruce, passed away, Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at his home.
Born July 11, 1946 in Whitmire, SC, he was a son of the late Haden Glenn and Peggie Collier Bruce. Kenneth was a graduate of the Whitmire High School Class of '66 and retired from VC Summer Nuclear Station. Kenneth loved his Home Place, his family, and most importantly his Lord.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Jarrett Bruce of Newberry; his daughter, Heather Bruce Merritt (Thomas) of Whitmire; his grandchildren, Halen Bruce (Madeleine) of Charlotte, Jarrett Bruce, Jr. of Newberry, Taylor Kunkle (Payton) of Whitmire, and Haden Merritt (Angel) of Whitmire.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Grady Duane Adams.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the Gray Funeral Home of Whitmire Chapel with Rev. Eddie Bledsoe officiating. A Private Family Burial will take place at the Bruce Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 26, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
