Kenneth R. Lawson Sr., age 52, of 57 Madden Rd. died Sunday, May 30th, 2013 in the Laurens County Hospital.
Born in Clinton, Mr. Lawson was the son of W.C. and Fay Lark Lawson of Clinton. He was a former employee of SAF, BF Shaw, Fonzi Screw, and was a truck driver for Southeast Transportation, Quality Haulers, and Carolina Concrete. He was a good architect and built his first house.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Kenneth Ray Lawson Jr. of the home; his children, Josh, Jonathan, and Jennifer of Clinton and Cassity Hanley of Whitmire; his step-children, Brandon and Andrew Oxford of Piedmont ; a sister, Laura Reese of Clinton and a special friend, Laurie Skidmore of Whitmire.
Funeral services will be held at Davidson Street Baptist Church Friday, July 5th at 11:00 a.m. followed by burial at Pinelawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Good Shepard Free Medical Clinic, 245 Human Services Rd., Clinton, SC 29325.
