Kenneth Messer age 82, of Cross Hill, SC passed away Monday, May 25th, 2015 at the Hospice House of Laurens County.
He was born in Travelers Rest, SC and was a son of the Clarence and Alma Sanders Messer.
Mr. Messer was retired from golf course management and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cross Hill.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Shelby Moore Messer of the home; two children, Sharon Adams and Timothy Messer; three sisters, Sula Cox, Joyce Fowler and Jean Lister; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a son, Kenneth C. Messer, Jr. and two brothers, Lewis Messer and Shervin Messer.
Funeral services will be conducted at the First Baptist Church of Cross Hill Thursday, May 28th at 2:00 p.m. with burial at the Greenville Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of the church.
