Kenneth N. Whitsel

Kenneth Neal Whitsel, age 73, of 107 N. Marion St., died Friday, February 1st, 2013 at the Hospice House of Laurens County.
Born in Clinton, Mr. Whitsel was the son of the late Edgar Allen and Onie Cogdill Whitsel. He was retired from B.F. Shaw Co. and served in the Coast Guard during the Korean Conflict. He was a former member of the Moose Club and a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by a brother, Joel H. Whitsel, and wife, Brenda, of Clinton.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 5th, 2013 at 2:30 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday, February 4th from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
