Kenneth D. Armstrong

Kenneth D. Armstrong age 74, formerly of 85 Palmetto Street, Lydia Mill died Thursday, July 14, 2011 in the Wesley Commons in Greenwood after an extended illness.
He was born in Laurens and was a son of the late Earl E. and Mary Elizabeth Kidd Armstrong.
Mr. Armstrong was retired from Lydia Mill and attended the Fellowship Baptist Church in Greenwood. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the S.C. National Guard.
Surviving are a sister, Sherry Armstrong Crisp of Greenwood; a granddaughter, Stephanie Lathren of Greenwood; two great-grandchildren; twelve nieces and nephews; and 22 great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, July 17th at 4:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
