Kenneth Daniel Godfrey, Jr.

Ken D. Godfrey, age 56 of 626 Benjamin Rd. died Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at the Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood.
He was born in Greer, SC and was a son of June Grant Godfrey of Greer and the late Kenneth Daniel Godfrey, Sr.
Mr. Godfrey was employed with Teknor Apex in Fountain Inn and was a member of the Dials United Methodist Church. Ken will be remembered as a great songwriter and musician and a wonderful husband and father who was dedicated to his family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Judy Nelson Godfrey of the home; two sons, Joshua Rowland of Laurens, Jesse Godfrey of Gray Court; one daughter, Hannah Godfrey of Gray Court; two brothers, Patrick Godfrey of New York, Mark Godfrey and wife Carol of Greer; one sister, Autumn Hipp and husband, Joey of Greer; five granddaughters and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, April 10th at 4:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Laurens.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of his sister-in-law, 706 Benjamin Rd., Gray Court, SC.
