Kenneth Duane Darby, age 71 of Clinton, died Monday, April 23, 2012 in Self Regional Medical Center.
He was predeceased by his parents, Duane Sims and Blanche King Darby.
He was retired from Torrington Bearing Company; was a member and on the Board of Trustees of Epworth United Methodist Church of Joanna and on the Board of Directors of the Joanna Fire Department.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Baker Darby of the home, one son, Robert D. (Cindy) Darby of Whitmire; one daughter, Linda D. (Ken) McAbee of Spartanburg and two grandchildren, Alicia Shayne Horne and Zebulun Wyatt Darby.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in Epworth United Methodist Church of Joanna.
The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Church before the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Epworth United Methodist Church, 305 Magnolia Street, Joanna, SC 29351
