Kenneth Richard Samples

Kenneth R. Samples age 61 of 210 Wuthering Heights died Thursday, January 8, 2009 in the Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Clinton and was the son of Helen G. Samples of Clinton and the late Jonas Samples.
Mr. Samples was a former employee of Clinton Mills and was a member of the Church of God. He was also an U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Pearline Johnson of the home; four daughters, Kendra Samples, Darlene Edwards, and Robin Whitmire all of Clinton, and Christine McJunkin of Joanna; a brother, Merle Samples of Clinton; and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Richard Samples, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 13th at 11:00 a.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton with burial in the Hurricane Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at 512 Milton Road in Joanna.
