L.C. Roberson

L.C. Roberson age 81 of 102 Jackson St., passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the National HealthCare of Clinton.
He was born in the Young’s Community near Woodruff, SC and was a son of the late Clyde and Viola Miller Roberson.
Mr. Roberson worked in the textile industry working in several textiles mills before his retirement from Clinton Mills. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and active in the church missions.
Surviving are his wife, Marie Watts Roberson of the home; three daughters, Renée Cannon (Shealy) of Kinards, Barbara Thompson (John) of Cross Keys, Kim Roberson of Cross Anchor; four step-children, Steve Hamrick of Clinton, Diane Hamrick of Columbia, Annette Dishner (Clyde) of Zebulon, NC, Jayne Litzenberger of Joanna; one brother, Clyde Roberson, Jr. (Helen) of Hookerton, NC; three sisters, Joyce Robertson (John) of Woodruff, Frankie Jackson of Boiling Springs, Cheryl Brittain of Woodruff; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; six great grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 27th at 1:00 P.M. at the Calvary Baptist Church by Rev. John Abrams. Burial will be in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
