Lana Suber Barnett

Lana Suber Barnett, 82, passed away on April 5, 2024, in Clinton, SC. She was born on October 26, 1941, in Whitmire, SC.
Lana is survived by her daughter, Nina Wagner; sons, Ross Wagner (Joan) & Richard Dorman (Nina Gail), grandchildren, Hunter Wagner, Madison Willis, Hanna Wagner, Heath Hood (Jamie), and Jason Hood, Kirkland, James &
Ashton Dorman, great-grandchildren, Chase, Ryan, Kinsley, Samantha, Jay, Ethan, Sarah Hood.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Zach and Leila Suber, her brother, Zach Suber III and granddaughter, Melissa Hood.
Lana was an active member at the Whitmire First Baptist Church.
She was always available to help with any activities. She especially enjoyed working with all the children on Wednesday nights and during Vacation Bible School where she was affectionately known as "Granny."
Lana lived a full life surrounded by her loving family and friends. She loved quilting and traveling with her daughter, Nina and grands Hunter and Hanna. Her kind and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Whitmire at 1:00 PM with Rev. Shannon Long officiating. The family with greet friends on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Gray Funeral Home of Whitmire from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to the Whitmire Rescue Squad 26350 SC Highway 121, Whitmire, SC 29178.

Gray Funeral Home in Whitmire is assisting the Barnett family with arrangements.
