Lance (Big Papz) Coleman

Lance (Big Papz) Coleman age 37, of 224 Turkey Lane died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008 in the Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Greer and was a son of Charles Allen Coleman of Commerce, GA and the late Betty Marie Blackwell and P. Leon Blackwell.
Lance was an employee of Resource Medical Group in Duncan. He was a member of the ISA Softball Association and an UIC Umpire Chief.
Lance graduated from Laurens High School where he played on the football team and was an avid golfer.
He is survived by a son, Timothy Coleman of Gray Court; two brothers, Steve Coleman of Gray Court and Chad Coleman of Anderson; a step brother, Bryan Blackwell of Greer; a sister, Tammy Wright of Fountain Inn;step sisters, Missy Coleman of Greenwood, Sheery Coleman and Shannon Coleman of Anderson; and several nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday Feb. 11th at 11:00 a.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Laurens with burial in Warrior Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home.
The family will be at the home of his brother Steve Coleman at 706 Martins Lake Road in Gray Court.
